If you are looking for a Homeowners Association like the ones you see on the news that are coming down unfairly and hard on homeowners, well, you've come to the wrong place. That is NOT who we are. We don't see our HOA as some sort of dictatorship where the HOA Board of Directors rule over homeowners with an iron fist. It's just the opposite with us. We see ourselves more like a democracy, where the HOA Board of Directors report to the homeowners and not the other way around. While we do have some limited deed restrictions, they are all reasonable, common-sense sorts of things that are enforced equally for everyone, and it's the homeowners who tell us which ones they want to see enforced. You see, while everyone cares about keeping our community looking good, we also understand that it's not just about houses ... It's also about the people inside those houses. People who may be living on a fixed income, or who may be experiencing health issues, or who may have fallen on hard times, through no fault of their own. We care about those people, and we are here to serve them.

If you are looking for a Homeowners Association where you pay ridiculously high dues every month, well, you have again come to the wrong place. Our dues are only $180 a year. That's right, we said a YEAR and not a month. While we don't enjoy a clubhouse, swimming pool, or a world-class golf course, we do offer very reasonable dues. Our only expenses include maintaining two retention ponds, a front entrance sign, and paying management company fees. Aside from a few other minor costs, that's about it. When the dues need to be increased, it is done by a vote of the homeowners and not the HOA Board of Directors. Here, it is the homeowners who get to decide what the dues will be. The Board will propose a dues increase and the homeowners get to vote yes or no. It is always the homeowners who are in charge here.
